MS343 Wins the 2023 Bronx Spelling Bee

MS343 hosted its annual spelling bee earlier this month, and last week our top three spellers represented us in the Bronx Spelling Bee. Out of 50 students, our students placed 1st, 3rd and 4th place! All three have qualified to participate in the Citywide Spelling Bee which consists of an online round first, then an in-person round. If one of our students wins the Citywide Spelling Bee, they will move on to the National Spelling Bee in Maryland where they will compete for a $50,000 cash prize!
